What do you wish you’d invented?
I have always been fascinated by airplanes, and I would have loved to help invent them.
What trend do you see shaping the industry?
New technology is rapidly optimizing operations in all industries, and the Pharmaceutical industry is catching up. Our industry is shifting from archaic tools and excel files to new systems for end-to-end support, artificial intelligence and advanced analytics.
Many of our clients are already ahead of the curve and investing in these technologies, and Kinapse is acting as a crucial partner to support these technological transformations.
What has made you proud in your career?
I have been working with a client through a regulatory tech transformation project for almost 2 years. The system is in the final phase of implementation and is expected to go-live in early 2018.
The client had made several attempts to execute this transformation before, but were not successful in achieving the desired outcome. Thanks to our regulatory expertise and willingness to go the extra mile to make our clients successful, the client has continued this partnership with Kinapse over several phases of the initiative because of the high quality work that we do.
Now, with the finish line in sight, I’m proud to have helped the client get the results they were looking for.
Where were you before?
I did my Masters in Engineering (Biotechnology) in India and did some research work as well. My lab in India was working on the analysis of gene expression in patients diagnosed with malaria.
I started with Kinapse in 2014 as an analyst, with our advisory team in Gurgaon (India) and then moved to work from our Cambridge office in 2016.
What I like about Kinapse is how we live our values each day. We are a team of very smart people with a great vigour for innovative and high impact work. There are so many opportunities to keep learning and I constantly face exciting new challenges. Everybody across the organization is always willing to collaborate and help.
Why did you choose to work in the life sciences industry?
Innovation and breakthroughs are at the core of every pharmaceutical company. This, coupled with a zeal to deliver value and improve patient outcomes, makes pharmaceuticals a very unique industry.
