What do you wish you’d invented?
Affordable, biodegradable plastic, because of the instant positive impact that could make on the environment.
What trend do you see shaping the industry?
In the near future, the increased use of automation and robotics will streamline processes throughout the industry. Our clients need to react by investing in skilled teams and by staying open to the options and the benefits that the increased use of IT can bring.
What has made you proud in your career?
During a recent project, a client told me; “I think of you as one of us”. It was a hugely rewarding thing to hear, and I’ve seen similar feedback for the delivery team of the programs I am involved in.
Where were you before?
Before Kinapse, I spent five years at Medimmune in Gaithersburg as a Science Submission Manager. I was planning and preparing Module 3 and associated CMC documents for global submissions and amendments.
I also spent six months at Borregarrd Lignotech as a Regulatory Affairs Manager, interfacing with customers and the supply chain for REACH.
Why did you choose to work in the life sciences industry?
I’ve always enjoyed science. The Life Sciences industry allows my analytic tendencies to blend with my ambition to do something that helps make a difference to others.
