What do you wish you’d invented?
Amazon or Ebay. Sometimes it’s the simple concepts that make the most money.
What trend do you see shaping the industry?
I can see a trend in more efficient data sharing across the NHS.
So if you have blood tests in one location they would be accessible to doctors in another without the long winded procedure there currently is. I think clients can react to that trend by looking at their processes for sharing data and thinking how they too can be more efficient.
What has made you proud in your career?
Being nominated for an industry award for my work is up there!
Where were you before?
I started off in the Civil Service with Records Management roles at The National Archives and HM Treasury. I then moved into banking spending 3 years at the Bank of New York Mellon before joining Kinapse in March 2017.
Why did you choose to work in the life sciences industry?
The chance to make a tangible difference.
In the banking sector, you don’t feel your work is making a difference to people’s lives. In the Healthcare industry it does. Plus, it’s a constantly evolving industry so there is always much to learn which is great.
